On 2 September, the Asia Population and Development Association (APDA), together with the Forum of Arab Parliamentarians on Population and Development (FAPPD) organized a meeting focusing on “Empowering Youth and Sustainable Development Goals” in Amman, Jordan, with the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Japan Trust Fund (JTF). The meeting was attended by 75 participants including parliamentarians and stakeholders from related organizations. The meeting was widely covered by the media in Jordan.
